Announced in February 2010 Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 mini pro was released in June in red and black colors. It is a 2G/3G phone weighing around 120 g and having dimensions 90×52x17 mm.

It has a 2.55 inches TFT capacitive touch screen supporting 240×320 pixels. The display of the screen is good as it supports 16 million colors. It has a fancy side slide QWERTY keyboard, accelerometer sensor for user interface auto rotate and also timescape user interface. To add to it the phone has a scratch resistance body.

Talking about the camera, it is a 5 mega pixel camera with 2560×1920 pixels and features like auto focus and LED flash. It also provides features of Geo-tagging. The videos can be recorded in VGA format with this camera with video light. Sadly there is no secondary camera. It uses a Li-Po 930 mAh battery with standby time of 285 h for 2G and 360 h for 3G. Operating system used here is Android 1.6 with Qualcomm MSM7227 600MHz CPU. It has a 3.5 mm jack and an FM radio with RDS. It supports GPS facility and also supports various java applications. The video player supports MP4, H.263 an H.264 formats and the audio player supports MP3 and eAAC+ formats. Some of the additional features are track ID music recognition, digital compass, Google search, maps, Gmail, You Tube, calendar, Google Talk, document viewer, voice memo and many more. This is an excellent mobile phone and well worth buying.

Google launched its first Android based phone by the name T-Mobile G1. It has a 3.2 inch touch screen with HVGA output and also features a unique side slide QWERTY keypad. The specification list of T-Mobile G1 is not the most attractive because Google had its main focus on making a phone with a fast operating system. So the G1 may be low on the features end, but the user interface and its processing speed is impressive.
