Ten Reasons A Blackberry Is Better Than A Iphone
When choosing a smartphone it can be difficult to base your decision on facts rather than media hype and peer pressure. This is particularly true of Blackberrys and iphones where they are as much about status as what they can actually provide their users. This article explains why the Blackberry is more superior and cites 10 areas where it’s better than the iphone.
1. With a 3.2 megapixel camera the Blackberry has by far the best camera of all the smartphones, particularly the iphone which only has a 1.2 mega pixel camera.
2. The Blackberry has a battery that you can easily remove at any time. If it fails its very easy to get and install a replacement, this isn’t possible on an iphone.
3. The standard headphones are good quality but if you do wish to replace them you can do so through a standard a 3.5mm Stereo input which means you have the choice of a huge range of headphones.
4. The screen of the Blackberry is far superior to that of the iphone. It is estimated to have 12.5 percent more picture element that the iphone and also has a more traditional screen ratio of 4:3
5. When trying to access the internet through a laptop it is possible to use your Blackberry as a USB dongle. You are then able to access the internet through GPRS on your laptop. The iphone doesn’t have this feature.
6. As the Blackberry’s are built using the Windows operation platform they are much more secure the the iphone which is built on the Mac operating system. It is therefore much more vulnerable to hacking.
7. Although the iphone comes with a bigger memory as standard, it’s possible to insert a 16GB microSD card to bring the Blackberry in line with it’s competitors.
8. The Blackberry is far better with dealing with emails. It automatically connects with the internet servers whilst the iphone has to wait for emails to be ‘pushed’ to it.
9. It’s not possible to send picture messages on a iphone due to a over sight by the Apple developers. It is possible on the Blackberry and most other smartphones for that matter.
10. All Blackberrys have a QWERTY keyboard so are much easier to pick up by users who have used a computer keyboard in the past. The iphone on the other hand has a very clumsy touch screen keypad which can be very difficult for beginners to pick up.
